Subjects include the native winter trees of the UK, the towering tropical palms of southern Sri Lanka, the fertile date palm valleys of Morocco, known as "Palmeraies", and the wild hedgerows and meadows of Devon, close to Kates' studio.

Drawing is fundamental to Kates practice and her underlying purpose and motivation is to capture movement and breath life into her drawings. Kate works with technical ink pens, ink and brush, mono printing and digital pens to create these finely mastered drawings.
